Attorney Derrick A. Humphries served as Head Usher for the Washington National Cathedral funeral service of Dr. Dorothy I. Height.
Attorney Humphries was the first black head usher of Washington National Cathedral and served for 10 years.
In his reprisal of the leadership role, Attorney Humphries escorted President Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama and Vice-President Joe Biden.
